BROADVIEW, IL – State Rep. Karen Yarbrough (D-Maywood) presented Broadview Mayor Sherman Jones and Westchester President Sam Pulia with $635,000 in state funding to help the Villages make emergency repairs to Gardner Road.
The state funding, secured with Yarbrough’s assistance, will help make the $1.3 million collaboration between the two villages a reality.
“This emergency road repair program not only helps municipalities make needed repairs to badly-damaged roads, it helps create good-paying jobs and free up local funding at a time when municipal budgets are stretched to the limit,” Yarbrough said
